Shasta College PACE offers the following support services

Students Requesting Services & Accommodations

Students who are interested in registering with PACE:

Log in to the Shasta Portal
Click on the PACE App
Fill out an application by clicking on the Application button
Someone from the PACE office will reach out to your within 3 business days
For additional questions, email PACE-Services@shastacollege.edu

Students who are currently with PACE:

Log in to the Shasta Portal
Click on the PACE App
Request accommodations for each academic term
Access note (if receiving them)
Schedule tests in the Testing Center or at an Extended Education site
Students can also call the PACE office at 530-242-7791 to schedule an in-person, Zoom, or telephone appointment for assistance with requesting services.

Appointment Scheduling

To schedule or cancel an appointment:

Log in to the Shasta Portal
Click on the PACE App
Click on the Request Appointment option (left side of the screen)

Please call the PACE office at 530-242-7791 or email paceoffice@shastacollege.edu to schedule an in-person, phone, or Zoom appointment.

Please note: our office is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Assistive Technology

Students who have been referred for assistive technology will be schedule for an initial training session with our access specialist. Assistive technology encompasses tools such as:

Recording devices
Livescribe Pens
Screen Readers
Magnification devices
Sound amplification
Text-to-audio

Information on assistive technology is also located in the PACE Canvas Course in the Technology Corner. Students can reach out to our office anytime during the semester to schedule an in-person or virtual training on college technology.

Alternative Media

Our office provides various formats for alternative media, including ebooks, audio files, enlarged print, and braille. If students require an alternate format for their courses materials, our access specialist collaborates with both students and faculty members to convert the course materials into a more accessible format.
